Each design captures the vitality of the underwater world and shaped by hand with Robert’s signature sensitivity to form.
"Gung"
In 2008, Robert was commissioned to design and craft an exclusive piece of jewellery for the Taronga Foundation. Crafted in 18ct white gold, and pavé diamond-set with 534 fine-quality round brilliant-cut diamonds, the jewelled pendant depicts Taronga Zoo’s resident Asian Bull elephant, “Gung.” Valued at $61,000 the piece was donated to the foundation to raise funds towards their elephant breeding program.
